A team of 29 students from Loburn School attended the Rakahuri Athletic Sports last week. We had some tremendous results, probably our best ever.

The following have been selected to represent Loburn School and North Canterbury at the Canterbury Championships at Ashburton next month.

Rakahuri Cross Country Results 2011
A team of 18 students from Loburn School competed in the Rakahuri zone cross country last Wednesday. All of the students who competed gave it their all and preformed superbly. We gained 4 top three places.
9yrs girls: 1st Gabi Rennie and 2nd Jess Anderson

11yrs girls: 3rd Rosie Ashwin
Tri Schools Cross Country Results 2011
From a total of 10 races, Loburn students won 7 of them. An outstanding effort from all of our runners. A number of these runners will now compete in the Rakahuri Zone event next Wednesday.

Year 6 Rippa Rugby
Congratulations to the Year 6 Rippa Rugby team who competed in the Rakahuri Tournament on Friday 20th May. Our team finished second, after 4 wins and just one loss. Everyone had a great day and enjoyed some form of success.
